According to David Locke, the radio announcer for the Utah Jazz, Jazz forward and leading scorer Gordon Hayward has been on an IV throughout the day after struggling with food poisoning. While his status was apparently in doubt earlier in the day, Hayward will play tonight. It has yet to be seen if he will be 100% or if he will play his normal minutes.
Gordon Hayward has been struck by food poisoning and has been taking an IV for much of the day. Will play. This was a bit in doubt— David Locke (@Lockedonsports) April 24, 2017
The Jazz are returning their other star, Rudy Gobert, who has missed the entire series after suffering a knee injury on the first play of game 1. The Clippers are without Blake Griffin, who suffered a toe injury in game 3, and Austin Rivers, who continues to struggle with a hamstring injury.
