Hayward was on IV treatment pre-game and played 9 minutes, scoring 3 points, before returning to the locker room for further treatment.

With Hayward out, the Clippers are free to use Luc Mbah a Moute’s defensive talents against Joe Johnson, who has found success against the Clippers’ secondary defenders in this series. Johnson had 8 points on 4-7 shooting in the first half.
