According to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne, former Cleveland Cavaliers general manager David Griffin could be in line to have a role in the Clippers’ front office. The Clippers have Doc Rivers currently running basketball operations with the assistance of Lawrence Frank, Dave Wohl, and Jerry West. Adding Griffin, an accomplished NBA GM and 2016 NBA Champion, would be another step towards building a front office “super team” in L.A.
Clippers obviously have a full front office with the addition of Jerry West. But look for them to call David Griffin like they did w/ KG

Shelburne references Garnett, who worked with Clippers players intermittently last year as a consultant despite not joining the coaching staff full-time. It’s possible that Griffin could be an advisor or part-time consultant for the season in L.A. while he waits for new front office openings next summer.
