On Thursday night, the Clippers purchased the 48th pick in the 2017 NBA Draft from the Milwaukee Bucks, selecting Sindarius Thornwell from South Carolina. Thornwell was a tough, do-it-all wing for the Gamecocks, leading the team to their first ever Final Four appearance. He averaged 21.4 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 2.1 steals, and 1 block while shooting 47.1% from the field and 39.2% from deep.
Check out his highlights from this year’s NCAA tournament, where he was one of the biggest breakout stars.
As a bonus, here are Thornwell’s highlights from his most notable game—a 44-point, 21-rebound performance against Alabama where he set the SEC record for free throw attempts with 33(!), doing work inside despite struggling offensively.
