According to Brad Turner of the L.A. Times, Clippers free agent Blake Griffin will meet with the Phoenix Suns on Saturday.

The Suns can offer Blake Griffin 4 years and $127,710,000. The Clippers, on the other hand, can offer Blake Griffin 5 years and $172,260,000. In a four-year deal, the Clippers can offer $133,056,000.
For Phoenix, the 28-year-old Blake Griffin might not make much sense for their timeline as the Suns’ roster is filled with young talent. However, adding a star of his caliber would give their prospects someone to play around and potentially push them into playoff contention earlier than their current schedule.
The Clippers, on the other hand, are reportedly determined to re-sign Griffin and enter next season with him, DeAndre Jordan, and Patrick Beverley as their main pieces. The team will likely pursue a wing, either in a trade this year or in free agency next summer.
