According to a report by Adam Johnson of 2 Ways, 10 Days, the Clippers are set to name Casey Hill the head coach of the Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario. Hill was previously the head coach of the Santa Cruz Warriors for four seasons, winning the 2015 D-League championship. He parted ways with Santa Cruz at the end of last season, reportedly seeking an NBA assistant job.
Now, however, he will settle in with the Clippers, working with prospects such as Jawun Evans, Sindarius Thornwell, and Brice Johnson. Hill will bring D-League experience to a franchise that is frankly devoid of it.
