Sean Kilpatrick will receive a second 10-day contract from the Clippers, according to Brad Turner of the L.A. Times.
Clippers will sign Sean Kippatrick to a second 10-day contract, per source.

Kilpatrick only made two appearances for the Clippers on his first 10-day, averaging 2 points. He played 11 minutes last Sunday against the Nets, scoring 2 points on 1-4 shooting and adding an assist. In 4 minutes against the Pelicans on Tuesday, he again had 2 points, this time on 1-2 shooting. He didn’t get any playing time in the Clippers’ back-to-back against the Cavaliers and Magic last weekend.
It seems unlikely that the Clippers will keep Sean around for the rest of the season after his second 10-day expires. On March 24th, when the G-League regular season ends, the Clippers will be able to transfer Tyrone Wallace and C.J. Williams back up to the NBA roster without converting them to rest-of-season deals. Wallace and Williams won’t be playoff eligible based on that transfer, that is contingent upon contract conversion.
In the meantime, it makes sense to keep Kilpatrick around for 10 more days, especially with today’s news that Avery Bradley will miss the remainder of the season following surgery. Kilpatrick offers depth at shooting guard in the coming games before Wallace and Williams can be brought back up.
