What is your favorite Quentin Richardson and Darius Miles memory?

The OGs returned on Friday night.

Two of Clipper Nation’s favorite players returned to Staples Center on Friday night.

Prior to Lob City, there weren’t very many NBA players whose names were synonymous with the Los Angeles Clippers. In the last 20 years, that short list could be narrowed down to: Elton Brand, Corey Maggette, Quentin Richardson, and Darius Miles. As the Clippers hosted the defending champion Golden State Warriors on Friday night, there was a reunion of some of these familiar faces.

Quentin Richardson spent four seasons with the LA Clippers (2000-04), averaging: 12.0 PPG, 4.7 RPG, and 1.5 APG. Darius Miles’ tenure with LA lasted two seasons (2000-02), where he averaged: 9.4 PPG, 5.7 RPG, and 1.7 APG. The duo spent a short time in Los Angeles, but they were a part of a 2001-02 Clipper team that almost made the playoffs. They helped create an incredibly fun team to watch, one that lasted in fan’s hearts forever.

The two received a video tribute during the game that was met with a standing ovation. Old fans were able to rekindle some of their favorite memories, while young fans were able to see what they missed out on.

With that said, what is your favorite memory from the Quentin Richardson and Darius Miles era? For me, it was the amazing Lamar Odom to Darius Miles alley-oop.

To this day, it’s still one of the coolest alley-oops of all time. It’s the perfect example of a team that may not have made the playoffs, but was incredibly fun to watch. Share your favorite memory with us!
