NBA Free Agency 2019: Kevin Durant planning to sign with Brooklyn Nets

Durant will join Kyrie Irving in New York City

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Brooklyn Nets are signing Kevin Durant to a four-year maximum-salary contract to play alongside Kyrie Irving.

The Clippers lose one of their biggest free agency targets, but as long as Kawhi Leonard is on the board, L.A.’s primary goal is still possible: get Leonard, and put as good a team around him as you can.

To get Kawhi’s co-star(s), the Clippers should now turn primarily to Jimmy Butler and Al Horford.
