According to Harrison Sanford, who co-hosts Danny Green’s podcast Inside the Green Room, the free agent wing had a phone conversation with the L.A. Clippers today.

Green was not only Kawhi Leonard’s teammate last year in Toronto, but has actually started alongside Leonard for basically both of their entire careers. He was a part of the Kawhi-to-Toronto trade last summer, and started 80 games for the Raptors while shooting 46% from three-point range.
He’d be an excellent addition on the wing to any team looking to contend for a championship—but his Kawhi connection is particularly compelling. This could be part of the Clippers’ pitch.
