According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, Clippers forward Maurice Harkless is changing his jersey number from 8 to 11 to honor Kobe Bryant. Bryant, who wore #8 for the early part of his career before changing his jersey number to #24, was one of nine people killed in a helicopter accident in Los Angeles on Sunday. The sudden loss of one of the most dominant players in league history has left people around the league reeling, and players changing their jersey numbers is one of several tributes currently underway.
