The NBA Draft is a little over 48 hours away and the rumors are beginning to come in. Granted, there are rumors coming from a lot of different reporters and beat writers, so take them with a grain of salt. With that being said, there are some notable rumors out there, including one involving the Clippers trading Lou Williams.
Several teams are looking to trade for the Mavericks' No. 18 pick, per @DraftExpress

Again, I’m not sure how much truth there is to this rumor, but this could be interesting for a number of reasons.
I’ll say this. It’s tough to see the Clippers moving Williams for the No. 18 pick unless they have something up their sleeve. This team is in “WIN NOW” mode, and them dealing the best scorer off the bench in the NBA for a rookie doesn’t make a whole lot of sense.
What would make a whole lot of sense would be if they’d be using this pick to add in a potential deal, maybe involving Jrue Holiday? Weeks ago, there were a lot of rumors regarding the Pelicans dealing their All-Star point guard, and the Clippers would make a whole lot of sense.
A potential package of Patrick Beverley, Landry Shamet, Rodney McGruder and the No. 18 pick sure looks like a decent package for NOLA, so maybe that’s what the Clippers are trying to do here.
Or, I could be just getting a little too excited, and the Clippers might just have a rookie they really like and are hoping they can draft. Either way, it’s going to be a really interesting and hectic couple of days.
Fasten those seat belts.
