Notes

Celtics Revenge: The Clippers had one of their best wins of the season against the Celtics back in November, when they won 110-105 in overtime despite trailing late in the game. That contest was at the heart of a seven-game win streak which the Clippers haven’t really topped since, and was one of the few times this season that the grit and determination of last year’s team shone through. The Celtics, however, have to feel that they blew that game, and will certainly be out for blood tonight.

Big Marcus Morris Game: Morris played for the Celtics from 2017-2019, and is close with many players on the Celts. He erupted for a big performance during his first return to TD Garden earlier this year when he was on the Knicks, and he will probably be raring to go for this one. The Celtics do have several capable defenders to throw on him, but their best perimeter defenders will be on Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and Lou Williams, so Morris could be in a big night.
