We’ve dropped three-quarters of the contenders for our all-time favorite LA Clippers bracket, with the new bracket looking like this, as things heat up for the third round. You can access an updated printable bracket right here.

Would you believe it, top seeds were not safe in the second round of our all-time favorite LA Clippers bracket, as readers prefer the new flavor of Kawhi Leonard to the Buffalo (Braves) style of Bob McAdoo, and Ron Harper to former running mate Charles Smith.

The upsets didn’t stop there, as Jamal Crawford also knocked out top pick Montrezl Harrell. While there are no No. 1 seeds left in our tournament, all of the No. 2 seeds are still alive, indicating an apparent curse of the top seed.

And here we go with the Sweet Sixteen!

In the stars quadrant, even with the upsets the matchups are mighty tasty. Kawhi may be new to the team but he could give Blake Griffin a run for his money. Meanwhile, Sweet Lou is up against CP3, making it four heavyweights, just as you would expect.

Legends

Bill Walton is the lowest seed left alive in our bracket, the big man going up against Ron Harper in one legends matchup. In the other one, one of the longest-tenured Clippers, Loy Vaught, takes on San Diego Clipper Terry Cummings.

In the most bittersweet of categories, four good ones from the 21st century survive. Two retired guys clash in one matchup, while two still active players square off in the other one.

The Best of the Rest

Again there are no scrubs in this quadrant, and given this is the all-time favorite Clipper bracket, one of these guys could very easily progress much deeper and make a run at the title. To me, Sam Cassell vs. Corey Maggette has to be one of the hardest to call matchups left.
