Let’s remember a recent LA Clippers rally for a good cause.
On Feb. 3, the Los Angeles Clippers hosted the San Antonio Spurs in a regular-season battle at Staples Center. The Spurs raced out to a big lead, up 15 at one point in the first half, but Paul George and Kawhi Leonard led the way as the Clippers rallied to win, 108-105.
This was the game where George took a shot to the nose and missed half of the third quarter while trying to stanch the flow of blood. But he got back in the action and a good team effort helped the Clippers pull through in the end.
Now, what does this have to do with a good cause? Glad you asked.
For every person who shares their rally cap (traditionally a hat turned inside out and put back on a person’s head) on social media with the #DKRally hashtag, our partner at DraftKings will donate $1 to the United Way’s coronavirus relief efforts until they reach a $1 million goal. The money will help United Way across a range of needs from food banks to medical services to unemployment support.
The rally will run through April 7th, so don’t delay in getting involved.
