Though he’s only played with the Clippers for 42 games, it has been enough to help Paul George crack this Top 100 list. Depending on how many years he plays for the Clippers, there’s a very good chance that George can finish in the top 10 when it’s all said and done.
George came to the Clippers in a blockbuster trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder on July 10, 2019. As everyone knows, it was in response to Kawhi Leonard signing with the Clippers. In order to acquire George, the Clippers parted ways with some talented players and years worth of draft picks. Was the trade worth it? It is yet to be seen.
So, what has he done this season?
He missed the beginning of the season with an injury, and missed some games here and there, but for the most part George has been great when he’s played. As mentioned, he’s appeared in 42 games this season for LA.
He’s only averaging 21 points per game, but that’s mainly due to him playing the fewest minutes since the 2011-2012 season. George is averaging 29 minutes a game, the first time he’s averaged less than 30 a season since he was 21.
Here are his best highlights from this past season:
