My thoughts
Well, this should be an interesting matchup. It appears to be a game that neither team will be desperately trying to win. Yesterday it looked as if the Nets would be without a good chunk of players, but this morning they upgraded some of them to probably. The Clippers will still be without Beverley and Harrell, and will be giving George the game off for rest.
This game shouldn’t really make a huge dent in the standings. The Clippers are pretty locked into the No. 2 seed, and the Nets are pretty much locked into the No. 7 seed. Obviously a lot of chaos can happen, but it appears that those will be where these two teams finish.
I’d talk about the previous matchups between these two teams, but this will actually be the first time the Clippers and Nets have faced each other this season.
If I were to guess, this game could end up being yet another bench game for the Clippers. If that’s the case, I’m totally here for it.
