The Clippers had an early scare in Game 7, when Landry Shamet clearly sprained his ankle on defense. He was in serious pain and hobbling as the Clippers got a stop and moved up the court on offense.
The Nuggets paid no attention to Shamet, using their five defenders to focus on the four Clippers who weren’t limping. Rather than call timeout, Kawhi Leonard patiently waited for Shamet to make his way to the 3-point line, and Leonard fed him for an open three, which he shot with little to no legs — and a late closeout.

The Clippers fouled on the next possession to get Shamet out of the game, but the team says he is able to return.
Credit to Shamet for playing through the whistle and getting his team three points when it looked like the play was dead. Every point is going to matter in this game.
