It’s hard to believe that the Clippers are playing a basketball game today after everything that has transpired, but they will indeed face off against the Golden State Warriors.

Remarkably, tonight’s game is an occasion for celebration. After missing all of preseason and the start of the regular season with right knee soreness, Marcus Morris Sr. will make his 2020-21 debut. Presumably, he will be coming off the bench as he ramps back into game shape and with Nicolas Batum having earned his spot among the starters.

Kawhi Leonard will also be playing both nights of a back-to-back for the first time as a Clipper. If he were planning on sitting out one of the games, he would have had to do so last night against the Spurs, as resting on a nationally televised game incurs a fine. Leonard will be joined in the lineup by Paul George, who is back after missing Tuesday’s contest due to a sprained ankle. That makes this the first time the Clippers have their full squad (minus rookie Jay Scrubb) on the court this year.
