During the Clippers season opener three weeks ago against the Warriors, Paul George felt frustrated that he didn't get an "and-1" foul call after making a layup, and yelled at head referee Zach Zarba that he missed the call. George ended up getting a technical foul. On the next play down, there was a break for free throws so George pleaded his case.
Serendipitously, the TV microphones around the rim were able to pick up George and Zarba's conversation, which I decided to isolate using audio processing (separate out the crowd noise and broadcast) and subtitle for you all. I thought this was very cool since we normally don't hear the NBA player-ref interactions and what the conversation is like.
BIG BIG THANKS to my good friend Xavier for his help with the audio processing side of things!
