Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NBA. Each week, we send out questions to the most plugged in L.A. Clippers fans, and fans across the country. Sign up here to join Reacts.
According to the most recent SB Nation Reacts survey, 50 percent of Clippers fans are confident the team is headed in the right direction. That number has held steady since last week, but is down from 67 percent two weeks ago.

The Clippers have an opportunity to build that confidence and improve their chances at a playoff run this season if they are able to add players before the trade deadline. Every Clippers fan surveyed wants the team to be a buyer at the deadline.

When asked where, specifically, the Clippers could use help, 70 percent of fans hope the team adds a ball handler, while 30 percent would like a defensive specialist. It’s worth noting that these results were compiled before Luke Kennard’s virtuoso performance, and Kennard is making a case to be that ball handler himself.

With 90 percent of Clippers fans wanting the team to be aggressive and make a trade before the deadline, the Clippers will need to give up a player. 50 percent of fans would most like that player to be Patrick Peterson, while 40 percent would rather it be Lou Williams and 10 percent would trade Patrick Beverley. The Clippers have already traded Mfiondu Kabengele, but presumably another non-salary dump move is yet to come.
