A lot of players will be out.....

Last night I said that I just want the Clippers to stay healthy over these next few games and I don’t care about the results. Well, it seems as if they took me up on that, as literally nobody will be suiting up for them tonight against the Rockets.

The best part is, they still will likely win.

Game Information

When: Friday, May 14 at 6:00 p.m. PT

Where: Toyota Center, Houston, TX

How to watch/listen: Bally Sports SoCal

Opposing perspective: The Dream Shake

Projected Starting Lineups

Clippers (47-23): Well, your guess is as good as mine

Rockets (16-54): DJ Augustin, Kenyon Martin JR, Jae’Sean Tate, Khyri Thomas, Kelly Olynyk

Injuries/Absences

Clippers: Patrick Beverley (Injury management), Amir Coffey (Health & safety protocols), Paul George (Rest), Kawhi Leonard (Rest), Terrance Mann (Personal Reasons) — OUT, Serge Ibaka (Lower back tightness) — QUESTIONABLE, Reggie Jackson (Sore left Achilles) — DOUBTFUL

Rockets: Kevin Porter Jr, Danuel House Jr, Avery Bradley, Sterling Brown, D.J. Wilson — OUT

Well, just by the looks of that injury report, this will be quite the game tonight. The Clippers very well could be without seven players tonight. We very well could see Jay Scrubb score 30 tonight, which would be absolutely awesome.

The Rockets are a bad team. A very bad team. I’m going through their roster and thinking to myself “Who the hell are 75% of these players?”. It’s bad in Houston. Even with the Clippers’ entire bench playing tonight, I very well expect them to win.

Apologies if you were expecting a more in-depth preview, but there’s not a lot of excitement with this game tonight unless you want to see Luke Kennard potentially drop 30+ or how many minutes Scrubb gets. Hopefully the Clippers can win, as a victory would nearly guarantee the third seed and still give them hope for the second seed.

But, as I said yesterday and as I’ll say again today.... Just please, please, please make sure everyone stays healthy. It looks like they’ll be trying to do that tonight.
