Today is the final game of the regular season. The Clippers will be taking on some version of the Oklahoma City Thunder. I haven’t been paying as much attention to some of the non-playoff teams.... but are you telling me OKC has lost 22 of their last 23 games!? My goodness. But, by looking at their starting lineup, it’s easy to see why.

Well, the Clippers should win this game. They’re expected to play everyone, so this shouldn’t even be close. So, with that being said, allow me to go over the potential playoff scenarios for the Clippers tonight in regards to seeding.

Clippers win + Nuggets win = Clippers 4th seed

Clippers win + Nuggets loss = Clippers 3rd seed

Clippers loss + Nuggets loss = Clippers 4th seed

Clippers loss + Nuggets win = Clippers 4th seed

So, it looks like the likely scenario is the Clippers getting the 4th seed, so anything can happen. If that goes down, the Clippers will most likely face the Mavericks in the first round for the second season in a row. However, here’s what would have to happen for it to not be the Mavericks, and be the Blazers instead.

Blazers win + Pelicans win + T’Wolves win

If those three results happen, the Clippers likely face Portland in round one. Like I said, it’s highly likely it’s Dallas, but anything is possible.

LET THE FUN BEGIN!
