Well, my friends.... here we are. After the Clippers dropped the first two games, they’ve managed to win three of the next four to force a game seven. The odds were stacked against them, but as they Clippers have always done over the years, they just continue to surprise us.
Anything can happen in a game seven. It’s a one-game elimination. All bets are off. As you all know, the home team has yet to win a game this series. This is the first time in NBA history in which the first six games were won by the visiting team. Well, something has gotta give, right?
You’d think that the streak would have to come to an end, right? There’s no way the road team can win all seven games. That means the Clippers have to be due. Well, let’s just hope.
Kawhi Leonard is coming off one of the best performances in franchise history in the playoffs. He scored 45 points, and the Clippers needed every one of them. I don’t think they’ll need him to score that many again, but it sure would help.
If the Clippers want to win this game, it will all come down to the three-point shooting. After being one of the greatest three-point shooting teams in NBA history this season, the Clippers have struggled this series so far. They’re missing a high number of open three’s and everyone has struggled so far. Dallas has come back down to earth recently, but to start the series they were shooting lights out.
As long as the Clippers can capitalize on their open shots from deep, they should win the game convincingly.
In the seventh game of the series, anything can truly happen. A certain player can get in foul trouble. A certain player can get scorching hot from the field. All bets are off. This series has been incredible so far. Only one game to determine the winner. Let’s get the win, Clipper Nation.
