Andy Roeser to Take Indefinite Leave of Absence

Andy Roeser, long-time Clippers President, will be taking an indefinite leave of absence, the league announced Tuesday.

USA TODAY Sports

According to Kurt Helin of ProBasketballTalk, Clippers President Andy Roeser will be taking an indefinite leave of absence.

Roeser spent many years with the Clippers as Sterling's right-hand man, but I would be hesitant to accuse him of sharing Sterling's reprehensible views and actions.  If anything, it seems that Andy is a nice man with the crappy job of having to deal with Sterling.  He was the Donald handler, and now that Donald's gone, it really makes no sense at all to keep Roeser around.

This sets the table for the NBA to put a CEO in place to run the organization and prep the team for sale, hopefully within the next year.
